Welcome to the city of contrasts! Shorts Attack gets to the bottom of diverse Berlin realities in 9 short films: Experience the weird chaos at a late night shop, witness a ridiculous sausage hold-up, try following the historic tale surrounding the Köpenick district and expose undercover ticket inspectors. Be moved by a memorable homage to the interchange station Ostkreuz and a speedy fringe-group hymn. In addition to all that, it seems life in a high-rise can be a real endurance test, that tram-cleaning activism is enormously commendable and that the Berlin TV Tower is ready for take-off.
This program is an affectionate and colourful portrait of the capital: melancholy and humorous, peculiar and poetic, loud and lively. And naturally musical, cos Berlin Beats!
