New festival locations
This year our festival has its own Festival-Centre: At Haus 13 in Pfefferberg! It comes complete with a screening hall, pool, restaurant, snack stall and dance floor. Apart from Kino Babylon we're delighted to count Filmtheater am Friedrichshain as a further festival cinema and the Ostfront / Westfront programmes will be shown at Zeughaus-Kino. And: The Eject night has switched locations this year, to the grand old Maxim Gorki Theater. More
The interfilm Academy
The interfilm academy is back for the second year running, hosted by the 25th International Short Film Festival Berlin. With a range of lectures, workshops and panel discussions, interfilm academy offers filmmakers, students and newcomers to the media industry the opportunity to grasp the basics, fill in knowlege gaps and gain profound insights into a variety of contemporary themes related to filmmaking. Eastern Front / Western Front
Five short film programmes are dedicated to the times surrounding the building of the Wall and it's demise. Beyond that there is the open-air Wall film stroll with A Wall Is A Screen and more. Find out more |
