Lars Klingbeil

Lars Klingbeil was born in 1978 in Lower Saxony and graduated from Leibniz University in 2004.  During his studies he also worked at the electoral district office of the then chancellor, Gerhard Schröder as Fellow of the Friedrich-Ebert Foundation. In 2005 he was promoted to the German Bundestag. From 2003 to 2007 he was furthermore Vice Federal Chairman of Jusos (the youth organisation of the SPD party). Since the federal election in 2009, Klingbeil is once again member of the German Bundestag.

Holger Franke

Holger Franke, is an actor, director, playwright and screenwriter. After graduating from acting school he received engagements in Stuttgart, Berlin and Hannover and also worked for television. In 1973 he founded the theatre “Rote Grütze” in Berlin. His plays include, “Was heißt hier Liebe?“, (Brüder Grimm Award, cinema adaptation 1978), “Gewalt im Spiel“, (Brüder Grimm Award 1987),  “Mensch Herrmann“, (TV adaptation 1993) and he was co-author of Dani Levy’s feature film, “RobbyKallePaul“ (1987). In 2005 he and Levy were awarded with the German Film Prize and the German Film Critic’s Award for best screenplay, for the film “Go for Zucker“. He is currently working on screenplays for cinema and television.

Marina Ludemann

Marina Ludemann was born in 1958 and studied literature and history. She worked as a journalist from 1985 to 1987. She has been at the Goethe-Institute since 1988, initially working as Programme Director in Sao Paolo, Brazil and subsequently as Section Director. Ludemann is currently responsible for the coordination of film programmes abroad.
