Public Transport

Berlin has an excellent public transport network. You can get almost anywhere by using the U-Bahn (subway), S-Bahn (suburban railway), bus or tram. The innercity zone is classified as Berlin A/B.

Tariffs

• Single Ticket (valid two hours) Berlin A/B: €2.10
• Short Trip Ticket: €1.30
  (three stations by U- or S-Bahn, six stations by bus or tram without changing)
• 4-Trip Ticket: €8.00
• Day Pass Berlin A/B: €6.10
• 7-Day Pass Berlin A/B: €26.20

All tickets can be purchased at ticket machines located on platforms and stops. Make sure to validate your ticket before boarding an U- or S-Bahn (little red validating machines located alongside ticket machines). Tram and bus tickets can be validated inside the vehichle.
