Three programmes dedicated to the environmental focus comprise drama, animation and documentaries to highlight the global dilemma between humankind and nature. The programmes condense volatile themes in analytical, grotesquely ironic and sometimes bizarre narrative ways. GS 01 High Energy
Energy is one of the central resources of our time. Energy is light, power and life, but can also mean apocalypse and death. The devastating impacts of nuclear power are compellingly demonstrated in the "High Energy" programme with animation and live-action films and where further forms of energy meet human energy-storage in a narrative peak performance: A high voltage programme to say the least!
GS 02 Food/ Consumption
Guten Appetit: The culinary world is currently undergoing a worldwide shift. Between consumption, waste, slow and fast food, more than a dozen films in the "Food/Consumption" selection remind us of what good taste really consists of. Get to know the cows of the future; reflect upon fishing; experience climate consequences in Africa; buy plastic bags and throw them away - but remember this: one day hamburgers will eat you!

GS 03 City/ Vision
Greater, higher, ever more beautiful: Cities are chaos, abhorrent to nature. The programme "City/Vision" shows extraordinary urban developments, follows visions and apocalypses and colourfully celebrates the dialectics of city versus nature, animal versus human, creation versus destruction. This visually forceful fest of mega cities transforms into a silent longing of nature's return.
