Grab a Flip and shoot a film!
Flip video cameras will be made available during the festival week. Both film professionals and ambitious amateurs are welcome to apply for one, on the condition that they use it to make a film…
The new German sites: flipvideo.de and doyouflip.de

Happening 1:
25 Flip cameras will be given away at interfilm Festival’s Opening Night Gala held in “Haus der Kulturen der Welt” on 3 November! Each Flip winner is required to use the camera to make a film during the festival week. A selection of the films will be posted on Flip’s official German website. Apply for one of the cameras at the Flip stand in the foyer and you just might be lucky enough to take a Flip home with you.
You can even borrow a Flip for the evening!
Happening 2:
On Friday 6 November, from 5pm to 9pm, there will be another opportunity to borrow a Flip to make a film.
Come along to interfilm’s Festival Centre at Haus 13 in Pfefferberg to apply.

These pocket video camcorders make shooting videos and sharing shots easier than ever. After switching it on, Flip is ready for takeoff! Just push the red button and start to film – the cam takes care of all the rest. When the filming is done, flip-out the incorporated USB-arm and share the video via the FlipShare-software, which automatically starts as soon as the device has been connected to a computer. Films can be shared as a link via e-mail, uploaded to personal websites or via social media tools such as YouTube or MySpace. Flip’s fantastic video quality can even be achieved in twilight settings, indoors or while changing from bright-light to low-light sources.
The three models, Flip Ultra, UltraHD and MinoHD vary in size, design, capacity, battery type and resolution. All Flip Video cams are equipped with an embedded speaker, stereo-microphone, USB-arm and a fix focussed lens.
