Nazgol Kashani is an Iranian-American filmmaker born and raised in Tehran. Her work moves between documentary and fiction, exploring history and memory and how individuals navigate larger political realities, often with a touch of humor. Before turning to filmmaking, she studied Cultural Policy in Paris and London and worked as an art curator and cultural journalist.
