Refugees and displaced persons from almost all over the world find refuge in Berlin. Their stories are often told – in public discourse too often about them and seldom by themselves. We are tired of images of misery and cruelty. Surprised by the continuing flood of images on social media, we are obscured and no longer accept the seriousness of the situation. Flight is a condition. Vanya has fled the war and is trying to grasp the reality around him. A documentary performance.
