An abandoned former GDR production facility. Dust-covered job applications from 2004 to 2008 are piled up in the basement of an administrative building. Alongside the standard phrases of a cover letter, the documents contain personal accounts of life circumstances and memories. A mosaic of needs, fears, pain. People from the region trying to find their bearings in an unfamiliar system. What place does capitalism have in store for us? An exploratory look at the facility, an examination of a potential workforce. An echo in image and sound.
