Despite all the travails of our Covid era, at least short films can still undertake grand European tours! The films featured herein have each been honoured with the respective national audience award at one of 10 co-operating festivals, namely Clermont-Ferrand (France), Encounters (Great Britain), Go Short (Netherlands), Curtas Vila do Conde (Portugal), interfilm Berlin (Germany), Alcine (Spain), Short Waves (Poland), BSFF (Belgium), Tampere (Finland) and Wiz-Art (Ukraine). Now they are being presented in two blocks at the festivals in question, in the scope of a competition, with each work hoping to win the favour of over 500 million European short film enthusiasts.
