What opportunities do unusual narrative formats and modern distribution channels represent for the classic web series? Maximilian Fraenkel and Laura Mae Cuntze will provide insight into a selection of ZDF’s series productions to date. In their masterclass, they place special emphasis on the fifth season of the narrative universe of “DRUCK” and the instant-fiction series “Liebe. Jetzt!” – both series that explicitly took their cues from the experiential worlds of their viewers. In the scope of their talk, the duo will challenge traditional narrative approaches and invite participants to join in a dialogue about the future of the web series format.
Presenters: Maximilian Fraenkel is an editor at ZDF’s "Das kleine Fernsehspiel" and responsible for formats of the “funk” content network. Laura Mae Cuntze works in the editorial department of “Fernsehspiel I” and was most recently involved in the production of ZDFneo’s instant-fiction series “Liebe. Jetzt!”.
All events are free of charge and held in English. The events will take place online and the Zoom link is available by registration via interforum@interfilm.de.
