SP 06 Girls* Riot! - Premiere & Panel

Take advantage of this unique opportunity to experience the ten young curators responsible for the Girls* Riot programme! In the scope of an intensive workshop week, the 15-to-18-year-old curators spoke about their concepts of femininity and took a critical look at the role of women in the (film) world. They were inspired and accompanied on this journey by contributions from their mentors rooted in the local film scene: Anne Isensee, Brenda Jorde and Tua El-Fawwal. Their short film programme calls out injustices, celebrates body positivity and is endlessly empowering. The premiere and subsequent discussion with the audience will be moderated by the young curators themselves. The discussion will be in German.
