PA 03 Focus on: #freeSZFE & Current Filmmaking in Hungary

The Hungarian regime has brought the national film scene under its control, and many filmmakers have left and are still leaving the country. But what do the restrictions look like? What defines Hungarian film, how it is changing under the current circumstances and what role the #freeSZFE movement plays will be the subject of this panel.

Speaker: Former lecturers and students of the Budapest Theatre and Film University (SZFE) will discuss the current situation for filmmakers in Hungary, moderated by Panni Néder, theatre director and former SZFE student.
