Covering everything from personal destinies to major social upheavals, documentary film is the genre that tells real stories. Through the positions and perspectives it takes, it can shape social discourse. The challenges involved, as well as how documentary film can tell stories in a contemporary and critical way and who can and should tell these stories, are the topics for this panel discussion.
