Synopsis:
JACKFRUIT tells the story of Mít, a gender-fluid person who is part of the Vietnamese diaspora and queer Berlin. Before Mít has the courage to move out, Grandma Roan is diagnosed with Alzheimer's. When Roan starts to forget things, memories of her distant homeland Vietnam fade as well... Mít sets out to find the connection between their two identities they thought were incompatible.
