Synopsis:
In her mother's nail salon, 11-year-old Linh begins a tender friendship with young Vietnamese employee Mai, who will soon need her help to hide from human traffickers that are exploiting her. Linh shows solidarity with Mai and rebels against her mother, who knows what’s going on but cannot revolt against it due to her own entanglement in the system.
