Participatory democracy is aces: so, we've assembled the audience favourites from nine short film festivals into one commpetition. Joining forces here: Clermont-Ferrand (France), Encounters (Great Britain), Go Short (The Netherlands), Curtas Vila do Conde (Portugal), INTERFILM Berlin (yours truly, Germany), Alcine (Spain), Short Waves (Poland), BSFF (Belgium), and Tampere (Finland). As the democratic process can be protracted, regular guests might notice a work from last year here or there. In the final round, a winning film will be crowned, for next year… curtain up for round two!
