Film screening with subsequent conversation between director Morgane Frund and audience.
Two years ago, filmmaker Morgane Frund wanted to make her graduate film about bears and ended up with a documentary about the male gaze. While digitizing wildlife footage from an amateur filmmaker, she came across videos of women – filmed in public – without consent. Her new cinematic approach: a balancing act in a complex web of power relationships. Honest and vulnerable, Morgane shares the process of making the film and its aftermath. As this is an ongoing process, the filmmaker wants to continue exploring the film's dialogue and find collective solutions to the questions posed by her work.
The event will be held in English.
