Foreword and Guidance on Sensitive Content
Welcome to our Film Festival! Short films are a powerful form of storytelling that address both societal and personal conflicts, evoking emotions and reflections. Many of these films also tackle sensitive topics, which can be distressing or retraumatizing for some individuals. In the interest of responsible and transparent communication, we aim to provide our audience with the opportunity to prepare as well as possible for the content of the films.
On our website and at the cinema entrance, you will find an overview of the films with Content Notes. These notes inform you whether certain topics, which may trigger strong emotional reactions, are addressed either explicitly or implicitly in the films.
We understand that psychological triggers affect everyone differently, so we cannot provide a comprehensive list of all potentially distressing content. However, if a specific topic is of particular importance to you, please do not hesitate to contact us in advance at andrea.s@interfilm.de.
We want to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to make informed decisions and navigate the film program in a self-determined and safe manner. You are welcome to leave a screening at any time and rejoin for the next short film.
Our goal is to create a mindful and inclusive festival experience for all. Thank you for your trust, and we look forward to your participation!
