FORUM 03 Case Study + Networking: Short & Co-Produced – Looking at the Danish-Swedish-German Co-Production of Hilke Rönnfeldt’s “Duty Free”

Masterpieces are realised collectively, but how does the co-production process for short films look in Europe? What funding options are available? Where can one find production partners? What markets are there and where can you pitch a project? How does it work in practice? What do you have to pay particular attention to?

This year, InterForum features a special focus on European co-productions. Using Hilke Rönnfeldt's film "Duty Free" (DK/SE/DE, 2024) as a case study, a number of these questions will be addressed in a conversation with members of the film team and the Creative Europe Desk Berlin-Brandenburg.

Following the talk, a one-hour networking event will offer film professionals the opportunity to share their experiences and forge contacts with potential co-production partners.
