IC 07 A Day's Work

A telephone rings non-stop in a Philippine office, while a rest-stop in Japan serves as a microcosm for earthly melancholy. Pressure at a French construction site pushes a foreman to the limit. With great tenderness, a migrant in Belgium cares for an old woman, while a couple of scrapyard owners and an affluent family become entangled in a conversation about art. Bizarre workplace situations, labour struggles and quantum physics provide the spark for tales of great humanity and moving humour.

All films will be shown in their original language with English subtitles.
