GC 04 Fragments of Connections

Stories that we leave behind once we depart. The remains of the persons we were. Becoming… something else.

So what remains when everything breaks apart? The five films in this program show fragments we leave behind—relics of who we once were. On a remote island, a village celebrates, while a girl searches for her place within patriarchal traditions. The survivor of an arson attack finds new hope in an encounter with a stranger. The program is like a cinematic mosaic of shards, which magically fits together through new connections.

All films will be shown in their original language with English subtitles, non-German language films will be shown with additional German subtitles.
