Internship – Film Submissions & Programming Support
For our short film festivals INTERFILM and KUKI (08–15 November 2026), we once again expect over 3,500 film submissions from around the world. The submission process is a central part of the festival’s work and requires a high level of organization and logistical coordination before the films can be viewed and evaluated. For this role, we are looking for several interns for three-month internships.
Tasks & Duration:
Film data management in the database
Digitization and archiving of films
Film research with a focus on regional and thematic priorities
Communication with international filmmakers
Film viewing and evaluation in screening teams
3 months, part-time (3 days/week), from 16 February to 15 May / 17 May to 30 August
*Unfortunately, these internships are unpaid. Therefore, current enrollment as a student (or being in an orientation phase) is very important. Further collaboration in the preparation and implementation of the festivals is possible.
Requirements:
Enrolled student or in an orientation phase
Good German and English skills
Interest in film, cinema, and festivals
Structured and focused working style
Team spirit and self-organization
