For each of the three Awards in the Documentary Competition the prize money includes the purchase of a license for the ZEIT Akademie platform (DACH region, 6,000 subscribers) based on the prize amounts: € 1,000 for 12 months or € 500 for 6 months for the jury prizes, and € 1,000 for 12 months for the ZEIT Akademie Audience Award. In each case, the following condition applies: Should the film prove unsuitable for the ZEIT Akademie platform, the full prize money is awarded regardless.
