Drones are circling overhead, surveillance and data analysis companies pursue aggressive data mining operating on the edge of legality. Human autonomy is being delegated to algorithms. The quantifiable side of the world is increasingly becoming the world. Big data has a hold on us! These films reflect on the deception that takes hold of us in light of these developments. Whether it’s selfie madness, shitstorms, or becoming a victim of the social media hype, there has to be way out of the digital chokehold. We will show it!
