FOCUS ON

MET Metropolis: Madrid

For the past several years INTERFILM has placed the spotlight on different metropolises around the world. Its program shows a mix of images from these cities, helping viewers to get a better feel for life there. Taking center stage in 2018 is Berlin’s sister city Madrid, which has experienced many ups and downs and changes throughout its colorful history. Along these lines, the films juxtapose the emptiness of the summer slump with the traffic of the big city and unfulfilled love with the happiness man in the world.

The program was made possible by the kind support of the Governing Mayor of Berlin.
