At first glance, work and pleasure don’t fit together; yet these films bring together the two in an entertaining way. Either the working crowd isn’t interested in having any fun at all, needing to be literally forced to do so, or they have too much fun and end up not taking their job very seriously. In the same measure that the films criticize the working world and labor conditions, they also act as a call for people to not always take themselves so seriously.
