Andrea Schwemmer

Voice & Body Awareness

Andrea Schwemmer studied Theatre, Film Science and Acting in Berlin and was a member of several renowned theatre ensembles. She has worked at interfilm Berlin since 2007 in various positions, currently as Senior Programmer and Jury Coordinator. In addition to that she also scouts films for feature film festivals, is Senior Programmer for the Shorts Section of the Arab Film Festival San Francisco, Head of Jury Coordination at the Filmfestival Max Ophüls Preis, works as an acting coach for the Young Talents Acting School Berlin and emcees screenings and award ceremonies at international festivals and institutions, such as the Humanisten Tag Nürnberg.

Julia Penner

Script Lab - Script Development

After studying at the famed Acting School Ernst Busch in Berlin, Julia Penner worked as an actress in the theatres like the Schauspielfrankfurt.She also worked internationally in France, Israel, Armenia and Chile.From 2012-2015 she studied at the Dffb screenwriting and got invited with the short movie “Not to early not too late” with Germanfilms to Cannes in 2015. Her debutscript "like angry dogs" is optioned with UFA and director Andreas Kleinert is attached to it. At the same time she also particapted in the showrunner programm serial eyes. Julia Penner strength lies within political stories combined with personal drama. She is one founder and member of the Schreibkollektiv Q3.  With three of her collective- members she works currently as a headwriter for a teenage series.

Gabriele Brunnenmeyer

Pitch Training

After some years as a journalist and film critic, Gabriele Brunnenmeyer was working in various fields within the film industry: She was running the MEDIA Antenna Berlin-Brandenburg, acting as an artistic adviser for the MEDIA training initiative Moonstone International, as well as artistic director for Connecting Cottbus till the end of 2010. From 2013 till December 2014 she was the head of studies of the MEDIA supported training program Maia Workshops. Since 2005 Gabriele is working for the German foundation Kuratorium Junger Deutscher Film as project and script consultant. Furthermore she does script consultation for independent feature films, documentaries and shorts as well as for the script development training First Films First. She acts as a pitching trainer and presenter for numerous events, among others Baltic Pitching Forum, Euro Connection, HFF Munich and Sam Spiegel School, Berlinale Talents and running the program Pack & Pitch in the frame of Talents Sarajevo.

Marijana Verhoef

Script Lab - Script Development

Marijana Verhoef is a Berlin based writer, dramatist and director. She graduated in Dramaturgy and Creative Writing at the Faculty of Dramatic Arts in Belgrade and has finalized her traineeship as a Story Editor at TorinoFilmLab. Her plays premiered at numerous theatres such as Düsseldorfer Schauspielhaus, Augsburg Theater and Maxim Gorki Theater and she has been also working with diverse storytelling formats, including animation, soundwalks and short documentaries. Verhoef is currently studying film directing at the German Academy for Film and Television Berlin.
