Sometimes growing up involves unpleasant realizations. Memories also have a knack for forcing us to finally look truth in the eye. When it comes down to it, you just can’t exist independently of other people and the world at large. The unACexpected calls our practiced routines into question. And when the truth can no longer be denied, masks fall and everything threatens to fall apart. At the same time, a path is cleared for the new.
