MC 02 LOCATION NETWORX - Location Scouting, Regulations and Experience in Berlin & Brandenburg

A film about a train journey through the Ukrainian countryside, shot in the heart of Brandenburg. How does that work? In this talk, Roland Gerhardt gives an exclusive look at his work as a location scout, while demonstrating that Berlin and Brandenburg offer plenty of opportunities for extraordinary motifs. Gerhardt will illustrate the influence that film funding has on productions and the creative contribution made by location scouts by sharing work samples from cinema, television, and video-on-demand.

Presenter: Roland Gerhardt, Germany, location scout since 1996. Gerhardt served five years as chairman of the Federal Association of Location Scouts and is a founder of the motif agency Location Networx.
