What became of the guest workers from Mozambique who used to work in the GDR? What was it like back then when Vietnamese citizens arrived in East Germany? What sorts of things did migrants and Germans with migration backgrounds experience after the fall of the wall? Individuals seeking refuge have never had it easy. Being asked for papers randomly on a train platform is humiliating enough. And then: a fishing boat discovers a cell phone in a plastic bag floating on the high seas. Suddenly it rings.
