In light of the still rather brief history of 3D film it seems a bit presumptuous to speak of “classics” for this art form. Still, the wide range of short films that grace the screens of the Courant 3D festival year after year has already yielded a number of established favorites. Reason enough then to present a couple highlights from previous editions alongside new trailblazers. This selection brings together surreal fantasy worlds, absurd humor, and creative flights of fancy in one lovely, hypnotizing collage.
