A Romanian child asks Santa for Ceaușescu’s demise for Christmas, with fatal consequences. A mother recounts her life during turbulent times, and, after the Wall falls, Uncle Dieter finally travels from the East to pay a visit to the West German boondocks. Oh, and, can anyone explain how the Brexit decision came to pass? An animated grotesque does just that.
