Our French-speaking protagonists don’t always have it easy. While Hubert is victimised by officials in the Paris Metro, Pablo’s friends make fun of his great passion. A bullying brother is forced to spend the afternoon with a strange old man who has a dubious past and Suzie is under a lot of pressure to decide with whom she would like to go to the prom. Aline on the other hand finds comfort in a new friend and a Canadian teenager shocks her extremely liberal parents with a grave announcement.
