What issues are important to young women*? Our 15 to 18-year-old female programme curators do not hold back: they shine a light on topics they care about and bring them to the podium; regardless of taboos. Alongside a startling documentary and courageous, sensitive stories, we experience an evocative animation that speaks to us without any dialogue at all.
Gently and stirringly, these cinematic works guide us through themes such as lower abdominal pain and violence, mother-daughter relationships, friendship and community, as well as oppression and the all-pervasive, everyday male gaze.
