KUKI .17 Young Short Film Festival Berlin
3 - 10 November 2024

FBW Special Award

Our long-standing cooperation with the FBW - Deutsche Film- und Medienbewertung (German Film and Media Rating Board) is intended to help (up-and-coming) filmmakers gain even greater recognition. We have put together a special jury to take on the challenging task of watching a wild mix of films from this year's KUKI program. Parand Laghai, Daniel Sánchez López and Seggen Mikael bring all the necessary qualifications to watch all the German productions and co-productions of the festival and choose a winning film. The award is a free submission to the FBW, with the chance of being awarded the rating “Especially Valuable”. This can be very helpful for the financing of future projects.
