KUKI Jury

At KUKI, the decision as to who wins a prize at the end of the festival is in the hands of the children and teenagers. Each of our three juries for the competition programs consists of an entire school class. The juries each watch two competition programs for their age group in the cinema and select a winning film. At the awards ceremony on November 10 at the Filmtheater am Friedrichshain, representatives of each jury will be on stage to give their speeches and present the prizes. We are already very excited to see which films they will select and would like to say a big thank you to our juries for taking on this important task!

JURY 1:   Class 2a – Die Eisvögel from Grundschule im Hofgarten – awards best short film for young children (from the KUKI 4+ and KUKI 6+ programs)

JURY 2:   Class 5l from Carl-Bechstein-Gymnasiums Erkner  – awards best short film for children (from the KUKI 8+ and KUKI 10+ programs)

JURY 3:   The art course of Class 10 from Primo-Levi-Gymnasium – awards the best short film for teenagers (from the TeenScreen 12+ and TeenScreen 14+ programs)
