Film Curation Workshop for Youth

For the competition programs for ages 12 + and 14 +.

Every year, during the summer holidays KUKI invites teenagers to decide which films they want other teenagers to see at the festival. During the free one-week workshop, two groups of teenagers between the ages of 12 and 17 watch, discuss and select the films that they think deserve to be shown in the international competition programs, drawing from a pre-selection pool of films submitted to the KUKI & interfilm Festivals. The result is two thrilling, moving and entertaining programs featuring films that are not only thought-provoking, but also fun to watch. Above all, they show how young people would like to be represented in film and which topics they consider important.
