End-O
Jaq is angry. But she also wants to have sex. This should be relatively straightforward - angry sex is one of the pre-approved genres for copulation. But her body is out to sabotage her. Jaq has endometriosis. One of those mortifying conditions, that affects every 10th woman in the world, but no one talks about or has a cure for. Jaq’s doomed; fucking and bleeding her way around town, before disappearing into the night like a menstruating terrorist. End-o is a frank and honest, but comedic turn on Jaq’s and her sister’s suffering from the same bullshit malady; not a “noble” illness, but something messy and most of all deeply uncomfortable for everyone involved. The sooner we learn to talk about it, the better.
A (very funny) short film about Endometriosis.
