In spring 1990 – between the fall of the Berlin Wall and German reunification – the first former GDR citizens fly to Mallorca. Mallorca is a place of longing for many East Germans, known to them from their West German relatives’ colourful postcards. Suddenly, anything seems possible.

Betina Kuntzsch (*1963 in Berlin) studierte an der Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst Leipzig. 1988 Diplom mit der Videoarbeit „Ich saß auf einem Steine“.
