Liebling Kino and our short films!

Short films continue to play an important role in the new BKM and FFA cinema program subsidy system “Liebling Kino” – both as supporting films and in their own short film programs.

From the beginning of 2026, the cinema program bonus can also be applied for retroactively for 2025.

The new points system makes the use of short films particularly attractive: anyone who meets at least two criteria – for example, with supporting films and short film programs – receives the booster – and a 20% increase in bonus points per criterion.

In short: short films not only bring cultural diversity to the screen, but also a clear bonus for committed cinemas!
