Leaving aside the frequently cited cliché of a chaotic, mushrooming Megacity, this interfilm program reveals the everyday life of the Chilangos, the name Mexico City residents have adopted for themselves. Revealing rarely filmed locations from unusual perspectives, these films are an honest and affectionate look at the armored truck drivers, bike messengers and sewer divers who navigate this megalopolis of 20 million inhabitants.
