Programme
Consisting of a retrospective and programs highlighting contemporary film, this year’s special focus on Italy is interfilm’s tribute to Italian short film. Portraying everything from pleasant, fantastic worlds to hard political realities, the Italian animated film has distinguished itself from the general field of Italian cinema and created its own success story. This development and its challenges will be the subject of discussion.
Be prepared to enjoy a moderated discussion of cinema with Italian animated filmmakers. Selected films from a few of the participants will be screened in clips or in full length. Presented in cooperation with Istituto di Cultura Italiano Berlino.
