100 Projectors is a projection project for the democracy movement of Myanmar against the military dictatorship. The campaign launched in early March 2021, at least 100 projectionists across Myanmar and other countries protesting the current coup by the Myanmar military. Photos, short videos and illustrations of the protests and their victims were collected and in the style of guerrilla marketing throughout Myanmar projected on house walls, garbage cans, and walls to protest the coup. In the meantime, the military has intimidated the people so much that no one dares to continue these projections in the country.
The participating projectionists are called ‘Projector Fighters’.
