Susanne Komorek was born in Poland and spent her youth in Swabia before studying Visual Communication at the University of Applied Sciences in Mainz. Since her early youth she has been with experimental forms of communication and media storytelling. She first came into contact with film work during her studies where she worked on several film projects. As art director under the creative direction of Ulli Krieg (UKCC), she has worked a lot for public broadcasters (WRD, NDR, etc.) as a client, where she was always in contact with moving images. She uses film as a communication channel that can be made particularly emotional and immersive. Her cinematic works are passion projects, which she pursues alongside her professional work as a brand strategist and designer.
