Synopsis:
In THUNDER IN HOORNKRANS - staged, yet inspired directly from existing rituals, poems, songs and moments of silence - the act of mourn shapes a spiritual space as the only relation possible between descendants and ancestors. While Nama people lament the calamity of the genocide, they gather by remembering through chosen words at the lonely site of a massacre.
