A film festival so welcoming and cool that children and teenagers fall in love with cinema - as diverse, colourful and lively as Berlin itself. The KUKI Festival shows exciting, creative and empowering short films from all over the world. Award-winning films alongside new discoveries, with short fiction films, documentaries, animations and hybrid film forms. With young juries, teenage curators, lively film discussions and didactic material for schools. Progressive, playful and thoughtful - KUKI envisions the cinema of tomorrow. KUKI presents 13 programs for ages 4 - 19 and beyond!
A special highlight for the youngest film fans: For the first time, the popular pre-school program for children aged 4 and up will be shown on two weekends at the cosy neighbourhood cinema Filmtheater am Friedrichshain!
