SP 03 Arab Shorts


Putting together a program of short films from the Arab world means emphasizing the cultural diversity, complexity and beauty of the region as well as countering prejudice and stereotype with a multiplicity of stories, emotions, and fortunes. These films—gathered from Morocco, Tunisia, Lebanon, and Qatar—provide a discerning view of Arab cultures, combining intimacy and farsightedness. There is no such thing as a single Arab world—there are an endless variety!
