Tripping at a party, shoplifting in a supermarket, or even swatting a fly: The fact is we do things from time to time that are considered morally wrong, but is that actually part of their appeal? DARING & DIRTY tests and crosses the borders where we immediately regret our actions, or sometimes simply suppress the guilt and coldly rationalize what we’ve done. The films here observe it all, at times with a solemn eye on the protagonists, at others with a smile and a wink. But never as judge and jury.
