These films provide us with insights into ways in which a wide variety of people live their lives and are marked by their personal fates. We travel around the global to see different lifestyles: from a jail in South Africa with its tattooed gangs to gravediggers in the Philippines to dog fanatics in Scotland. The program shows marginalized groups and identities, and how society handles them, or doesn’t.
